BBC Radio Manchester is “Talking Balls” in a brand new football phone-in show.
Kyle Walker and Gaz Drinkwater take calls from footie fans across Greater Manchester, debating all things Manchester City and Manchester United.
Talking Balls with Kyle and Gaz is a fun, feisty and interactive phone-in set to air every Monday to Friday, 6-7pm, from Monday 5 August.
As well as sharing his name with the City and England defender, Kyle Walker is a big Sky Blues fan and will champion fellow supporters calling in to talk about Pep Guardiola’s side.
Gaz Drinkwater, meanwhile, is a passionate Red Devil and wants to hear from fans who are feel Manchester United are still the main team in town.
Together, Kyle and Gaz will pull apart the big footballing issues of the week, getting fans to rant, rave and just have their say.
Kyle Walker said: “I can’t wait to get started on Talking Balls. I need all the City fans to call in and help me remind Gaz who the best team in Manchester is. It’s going to be brilliant to chat to fans of both teams every night, so give us a call.”
Gaz Drinkwater said: “City might be the current Premier League champions but United is the biggest club in the world and I’m going to be reminding Kyle of that on a daily basis. I’m really looking forward to kicking off Talking Balls and hearing from fans right across Greater Manchester.”
