Greater Manchester Police have confirmed this morning that a man has been released under investigation and a second man detained under the Mental Health Act under investigation following the rape of a woman in Stockport.
A man aged 57 arrested on suspicion of rape has been released under investigation while a second man aged 44 arrested on suspicion of rape has been detained under the Mental Health Act under investigation.
A woman, aged in her 30’s, was attacked outside St Mary’s on Churchgate in the early hours of Xmas Eve.
