Trafford Law Society’s annual black-tie spring ball has raised more than £700 by holding a raffle to support local families in need.

Little Bundles charity provides clothes and equipment for people with a baby under the age of one who are experiencing significant financial hardship.

President of Trafford Law Society, Geraldine Stephens, said: “We’re delighted to support this incredibly worthwhile organisation.

“We would like to thank all the local businesses who contributed prizes to the raffle allowing us to raise these much-needed funds and our sponsors, Index PI, Ground Sure and Stewart.”

Geraldine, a commercial litigation solicitor at the Manchester office of national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP, said the charity worked tirelessly to support families at crisis point.

“Little Bundles does an amazing job supporting people who may be finding it tough to provide everything they need to help bring up a small child.”

The organisation works on a referral process through professionals such as health and social workers, to provide essential items such as cots, prams, high-chairs and baby clothes.

Little Bundles supports people including refugees and asylum seekers, victims of domestic abuse, and those living in temporary accommodation.

Trafford Law Society provides information, seminars and social events for its members.

Clarke Willmott LLP is a national law firm with seven offices across the country, in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton and Taunton.
