The chair of the 1922 Back Bench committee who is standing down as an MP at the next election is releasing Kingmaker: Secrets, Lies, And The Truth About Five Prime Ministers
It claims to offer insight into the character and choices of successive prime ministers and their administrations.
The book as revealed by the Daily Telegraph is said to be deliciously unfiltered and due to be published after the general election, with a provisional release date of Nov 7.
The book says the paper will talk more widely about plots to oust leaders and how he dealt with demands for information from Number 10.
The book will be published by Ithaka Press, an imprint of Bonnier Books UK’s Black & White Publishing Group.
