Altrincham MP Sir Graham Brady, the chairman of the 1922 Committee was amongst a group of MP’s duped by a fake South Korean consultancy firm.

The Campaign group Led by Donkeys offered MP’s a lucrative position in a video made to raise awareness over MPs’ second jobs.

The former Health Secretary Matt Hancock was filmed agreeing to work for £10,000 a day and was also joined by Ex-chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng who agreed to the same rate, saying he did not require a “king’s ransom”.

Brady said a daily rate of about £6,000 “feels about right” but told the fake firm he could not advocate on behalf of the interest but said he may be able to advise the firm on who to approach in government.
