The Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been taken to hospital after feeling unwell at Old Trafford before the side’s Premier League match against Liverpool.
Sources have stressed it was a precautionary move and not an emergency situation as Ferguson was taken from the stadium in an ambulance.
He was according to reports, in the tunnel area ahead of the game before being taken to hospital as a precaution.
A Press Association report says a source has confirmed that the 84-year-old is “OK,” following precautionary medical attention.
