Police are investigating after an overnight incident that saw gunshots fired at a property in Wythenshawe where a house party was in progress in the early hours of this morning.
A scene is currently in place whilst detectives continue to carry out enquiries at the house on Fairways Avenue.
Detective Inspector Christopher Maddocks, from GMP’s City of Manchester division, said: “This is understandably an incident that has left a community worried and we’re currently working to understand what happened and who was responsible.
“A scene is currently in place and I’d like to thank residents nearby for cooperating whilst we carry out with enquiries.
“At this time, we believe the incident to have been isolated and would ask anyone with information to come forward.
