Graphene Innovation Manchester announced the deal with as Prime Minister Kier Starmer flew to Saudi and the UAE on a trade mission which he said would benefit the North of England
The progresses environmentally sustainable advanced materials and aims to generate £250 million of investment into a research and innovation centre in Greater Manchester, expected to create more than 1,000 skilled jobs in the region.
Dr Vivek Koncherry, GIM chief executive, said producing the material at scale had the potential “to change every aspect of our lives”.
