Salford City have signed experienced defender Michael Rose on a three-year deal!
The 29-year-old joins the club after spells in the Championship with Coventry City and Stoke City
Speaking shortly after signing for the Ammies, Rose expressed his delight in signing for the Club as well as his ambition to use his experience from elsewhere to bring more success to Salford.
“It is really good to be here. I am just happy to have got everything sorted, it is an exciting time and I am really looking forward to it.
“I will try to bring my experience and take it here, I have not played in League Two before so it is all new to me and different, but this is a project here that I am quite excited about. Obviously there are the new owners, and hopefully I can help on the pitch and as much as I can off it as well, and just help drive the Club forward.
“It is not going to be easy; this is a tough league, I have watched a couple of games since the interest came about and I have got a few mates who play in the league as well, so I know how hard it can be. It is not as easy as just saying that we are going to get promoted, you have got a lot of things to do week-to-week for that to happen.
“But it’s an exciting time. I have come down to League Two and I want to move back up with the Club, I have done it previously, and hopefully we do that here as well.”
