Rola Wala (meaning, ‘man that rolls’ in Hindi) are bringing their famous naan rolls to Manchester this Autumn. Healthy, freshly made and full of authentically spiced Indian fillings; Rola Wala are bringing proper lunches, epic dinners and late night fixes with the most flavoursome build your own Indian naan rolls, rice bowls and naan tacos full of lively flavours with a healthy twist. 

 

What’s more, Rola Wala’s ‘buy-one-give-one’ incentive means that for every naan roll sold they donate one to a hungry child in the developing world. To date over 850,000 meals have been delivered by Rola Wala – that’s enough to feed everyone in Manchester and Leeds.

Hang out in the restaurant, get that post gym protein hit, swing by for a late night food fix (open until 3am Friday and Saturday!), or order on Deliveroo – whatever you’re after, every dish is made fresh and built to order. First choose from a regular or foot long naan, then pick between a range of mouthwatering meat, vegetarian and vegan fillings; hot fillings include the crowd favourite Chicken Tikka and 10 hour slow cooked Nagaland Pulled Lamb plus a selection of other meat, vegan and veggie options all packed full of flavour. Finished off with fresh salads and garnishes of your choice, customers can set their own heat level from a selection of five freshly made chutneys that range from no-chill and mild, through to extra spicy! The menu also includes Rice Bowls, Tikka Tacos and Curries plus a number of crowd-pleasing sides that will transport you straight back to the streets of Delhi.

 

Unlike typical fast food, Rola Wala is not loaded with fake ingredients and empty calories. Every dish is made from scratch in their kitchens daily, with fresh ingredients and customised to order in under 3 minutes, with meals starting at £5.95. The majority of the main meals come in at under 500 calories and contain over 30g of protein.

Founded by Mark Wright on the streets of London in 2016, Rola Wala was created around a passion for fast, fresh Indian flavours – at a price you can enjoy every day. The brand started life as a street food stall in London back in 2016 before Mark opened the first restaurant in Trinity Leeds. Since then, Rola Wala has featured in a Hollywood movie (‘Burnt’, starring Bradley Cooper), been dubbed ‘London’s Best Wrap’ by Rita Ora and the team at Saturday Kitchen, featured on Rachel Khoo’s Kitchen Notebook: London, and even made a cameo appearance on Jamie Oliver’s Friday Night Feasts.

 

Rola Wala has a long standing partnership with  One Feeds Two;  a charity concept that promises to deliver a second meal to school children battling hunger in the developing world for each transaction made.
