Reform UK has won its first seat on Salford Council
In the Barton and Winton by election which followed the death of Labour councillor, David Lancaster MBE Michael James Felse won for Nigel Farage’s party gaining 676 votes with the Labour Party candidate Catherine Goodyer 33 votes behind following a recount
The Greens were in third place
The turnout in the by election was just seventeen per cent
