The Deputy Prime Minister and Greater Manchester MP has said that work to fix unsafe cladded buildings needs to speeded up in the wake of yesterday’s damning Grenfell fire report

She said that she wanted “to do everything we can to get this cladding off buildings and hold those responsible to account”
In the wake of the damning report into the Grenfell fire which killed 72 people She said that she was astonished at how many buildings with unsafe cladding are waiting to start remediation work.
