Angela Rayner and Dominic Raab were involved in a fiery exchange over the Government’s anti-social behaviour action plan in the House of Commons

The two were standing in for their respective leaders at today’s Prime Minister’s Questions

Rayner asked the Justice Secretary why after 13 years were there 6,000 less neighbourhood police officers on our streets and said that under the Tories 98% of rapists don’t see the inside of a courtroom – let alone prison.

Why, she asked, won’t he apologise to those denied justice by his failures?

However she started by bringing the bringing the bullying case being brought against him into her question on the Government’s plans for tackling anti social behaviour

“The Deputy PM knows first hand the misery caused by thugs and their intimidating behaviour, lurking with menace, exploding in fits of rage, creating a culture of fear…”

Will more bullies be brought to justice? she asked to which Raab replied

‘I can assure the House, I have never called anyone scum.’
