Plans have been submitted for a £53m 26 storey building on the border of Manchester and Salford
The building on land bound by Trinity Way, William Street and the Local Blackfriars development
The scheme known as Obsidian will provide provide 250 new residential units, along with approximately 90 sqm of commercial space.
It would also create a significant area of new public realm, creating both a place for the residents of the scheme to spill out into and for the surrounding community to enjoy say the architects Euan Kellie Property Solutions based in Manchester
Details of the scheme from the planning application say that The building will comprise 31 studios, 93 one-bed flats, 111 two-bedroom apartments and 15 three bed homes. Amenities will include a private dining room, gym, cinema room, package store, co-working space and a cafe.
