A man in his 80’s remains in hospital after being hit by a car Sheepfoot Lane in Oldham approaching the junction with Oldham road on Monday night,police have announced
The pedestrian man was making use of a walking frame and began to cross Sheepfoot Lane when then the vehicle, a Hyundai i10 collided with him
The driver remained at scene and assisted officers with enquiries. No arrests have been made.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
