A Pro Palestinian Demonstration went ahead in Manchester today despite pleas from police and politicians to postpone it
As protesters gathered in St Peter’s Square, The names of dead children were read out during a demonstration in support of Palestinians in Gaza
Later around 100 congregated outside Manchester Cathedral
Meanwhile in London police arrested over 300 people demonstrating in support of Palestinian Action
More than a thousand pro-Palestine protesters descended on London on Saturday, holding placards in support of the proscribed terror group in Trafalgar Square and unfurling a banner over Westminster Bridge which read: “I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action”.
Later some protesters chanted “long live the Intifada,” outside No10 Downing Street.
