BOLTON Wanderers are to face Huddersfield Town the week before the start of the new EFL season.
Ian Evatt’s men will take on the Terriers – who just missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season – at the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday, 23 July (KO 3pm).
The attractive friendly fixture will be Wanderers’ only home game of their pre-season programme and an excellent opportunity for supporters to watch the Whites ahead of the big kick-off on 30 July.
Salford City return to The Peninsula Stadium pitch for the first time for a pre-season fixture against Rotherham United.
The Millers are due to make the trip over on Wednesday 13th July for a 7pm kick-off while Championship side Blackpool will visit The Peninsula Stadium in pre-season for a friendly.
The Seasiders, who have been for a pre-season game before in 2017, are due to come on Tuesday 19th July for a 19:30 kick-off.
