British Transport Police have released images of a man they want to speak to after railway cables were severed on three occasions in the centre of Manchester

On May 24, June 20 and July 5 at around 11.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30am respectively, a man ventured onto the tracks at New Viaduct Street and proceeded to cut and drag away railway cable, vital to the rail infrastructure.

Officers believe the man in the images may have useful information which could help their investigation.
