Police would like to speak to the three men pictured in relation to an ongoing investigation into a serious assault on Wilmslow Road in Rusholme on Saturday night
Police located three men at the incident aged 27, 28 and 30 – with injuries that were consistent with knife-injuries and were described as non-life threatening or life-changing.
Last night they arrested one man in his 30s on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and grievous bodily harm, he has been bailed pending further investigations.
Enquiries are ongoing, with CCTV and witness footage secured, showing a number of suspects involved in the incident. Officers are working to identify and locate those responsible.
At this stage, there is no indication of a wider threat to the general public.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, has relevant footage to come forward or knows of the three people pictured to come forward, and assist us with our investigations.
Detective Inspector Seán McFadden from our City of Manchester district said: “This was a violent incident that left three men with injuries, and we are determined to identify everyone involved. Our officers responded quickly on the night, and we are progressing a thorough investigation, with CCTV footage and witness accounts already secured.
“We understand incidents like this can cause concern in the community, and I want to reassure the people that there is no wider threat to the public. However, it is vital we establish exactly what happened and bring those responsible to justice.
