Two men aged 32-years-old and 22-years-old have been arrested on suspicion of attempt murder after police raided a holiday park in North Wales earlier today
The arrests at Abergele were in connection with an incident last Wednesday in Oldham at Royal Oldham Hospital Accident & Emergency as well as to Busk Road, following a man presenting himself with gunshot wounds and another receiving serious knife wounds at the scene.
A third man aged 28 was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Detective Inspector Alex Wilkinson of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: “So far, we have conducted five search warrants and nine property searches have been executed as part of our investigation whilst securing one charge and making a total of eight arrests.
“Our work is far from over but the investigation is moving at pace, and we continue to work relentlessly to capture a picture of what happened leading up to the incident.
