Police investigating a crash in Oldham area are appealing for a potential witness to come forward
20 year old Jordan Relph was hit by a vehicle on Glodwick Road at around 5.55am on September 18.
He was seriously injured and died a short time later in hospital
The driver of the car – a man, aged 53 – stayed at the scene. He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, but has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Officers are now hoping to locate a witness, who was driving behind the vehicle involved in the collision and got out to assist.
They are believed to have been driving a black car – possibly a hatchback. While the CCTV images aren’t fully clear, officers are hoping that the owner recognises their vehicle, remembers the incident, and comes forward.
They are being treated as a witness and officers hope they can assist with enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage, should contact police on 101 or 0161 856 4741 quoting log number 464 of 18/09/25.
