A new 237 home scheme near to Cornbrook station in the City Centre has been given the go ahead

Forshaw Land & Property Group acquired the land from waterside regeneration specialist, Peel Waters.

The approved project called Vivere Residences and Vivere Aparthotel is set to build 237 units and 88 aparthotel studios on a 2,249 sqm site to revitalise the current wasteland.

The Vivere Residences will feature a 24-storey building with 237 units, including 74 one-bedroom and 158 two-bedroom. Out of these 237 units, 5 will be luxury penthouses that include private terraces. The penthouses will include stunning views of the nearby canals, Salford Quays and the City.

Thr Vivere Aparthotel will include 88 rooms and will cover 4 of the 24 storeys of the building. Because of the location of the property, it doesn’t only make for a great residential building.

Its location and nearby transportation systems make it an excellent place for a hotel, offering short-term accommodation for business people and tourists.

Leigh Thomas, development director at Peel Waters, said: “This is a major milestone, and we are pleased to have partnered with Forshaw Land and Property Group who will be bringing forward the delivery of new homes and jobs on brownfield land in a fantastic location.

“Cornbrook is an important gateway into Pomona Island, which will be transformed by our wider plans to create a new waterside neighbourhood, with over 10 acres of green spaces and public realm.

“Unlocking this site has been a key priority for us and through careful land assembly and long-term planning, we’ve created the opportunity for high-quality developments like VIVERE Cornbrook to come forward.”
