The pedestrian, a male in his 80s, suffered injuries described as serious but not life threatening after being hit by a motorcycle in Chadderton yesterday morning
The incident happened at around 9:35am on Middleton Road, Chadderton
The male rider of the motorcycle remained at the scene of the collision to assist officers.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, particularly anybody who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
