Around 200 officers carried out 22 early-morning raids across Greater Manchester and Merseyside, targeting organised crime groups responsible for causing significant harm in communities.
So far, 18 individuals have been arrested on suspicion of a range of offences, including conspiracy to supply drugs, modern slavery, possession with intent to supply, and assaulting a police officer.
