From the team behind the much loved Northern Quarter hotspot Evelyn’s and underground cocktail bar, The Daisy; PUBLIC will offer the perfect mix of pints and great cocktails to suit every drinker and occasion.
With nearly 300 seats on the sunny side of Stevenson Square, the PUBLIC terrace is set up for hot Manchester days with a list of long, refreshing and fun drinks including:

And if cocktails aren’t your thing, enjoy ‘Normal Lager Please’, wine on tap, and a selection of ‘Posh Bottle Only Vino’.
With their own spin on ‘happy hour’ PUBLIC will also be a go-to spot in the Manchester rain. The ‘Unhappy Hour’ menu offers deals on beer, wine and cocktails on weekdays when the Manchester rain makes an appearance over the summer months – ‘*real rain only, spitting doesn’t count.’
There’s also a selection of small bites, noodles and sandos to accompany the drinks. Inspired by the Lower East Side’s late night bars and the bustling energy of NYC’s Chinatown, the dishes are accessible, and inspired by cravings.
The bar menu includes a burger in a potato bun, with American cheese, disco pickles, onion, burger sauce and house ketchup. The vegan hot oil gun gun noodles come with spring onion, grated ginger and garlic, dark soy, morning glory, crispy chilli oil. There’s a buttermilk fried chicken breast sandy with iceberg, sriracha mayo, sesame, gochugaru, pepper mayo and disco pickles as well as a char sui sticky glazed pork belly ‘stick’.
PUBLIC’s bar will open seven days a week from midday and until 3am on weekends. As much time has been spent perfecting the sound system in PUBLIC as the menus with a roster of local DJ’s set to play each weekend and a late night basement and events space opening later in the year.
