Join Open Kitchen for a night of festive frivolity on Tuesday 6th December from 6pm, with performances from the Halle Ancoats Community Choir at 6.30pm & 8pm. There will also be an independent, sustainable Christmas market to pick up those ethically sourced Christmas gifts, mulled wine, mince pies and more.

Support local, sustainable businesses at this city centre indoor Christmas market with traders selling beautiful plants for your home, holiday wreaths, ethically sourced jewellery, and stunning ceramics made from recycled and reworked clay.

Manchester makers who will be plying their wares on the night include @plantshopmanchester @breadflower @traceybirchwoodjeweller @stephaniemannjewellery @suemc.ceramics @dewdropjewellery @phmmcr and @cverityjewellery.

The Halle Ancoats Community choir, based right here in the city centre will also be performing some carols to get you into the festive spirit. The wonderful choir will be filling the Open Kitchen Cafe with music, while you enjoy a hot drink and a sweet or savoury snack.

The bar team have concocted four festive drinks (as well as some classic mulled wine) with a selection delicious small bites which, as you’d expect from the social enterprise, have been created from intercepted food rescued from going to waste.

The event is free to enter and will be held at Open Kitchen’s riverside café & bar on the ground floor of the People’s History Museum on Left Bank in Spinningfields from 6pm on Tuesday 6th December.
