The British YouTuber Cozzy Media was filming in Piccadilly Gardens on Halloween when two trans-dressed individuals confronted and punched him for recording without consent,which then sparking the brawl captured on video as what appeared to be an unprovoked attack drew in bystanders
The video posted on You Tube showed the YouTuber trying to interview a girl wearing bunny ears obviously upset about something
He asked for the camera to be turned off and then a scrum ensued
One unlooker on X said that
“some bloke in drag loses his rag, lunging at folk like a rabid dog, sparking a full-on mass brawl with punches flying and bodies tumbling everywhere.”
Cozzy told the Manchester Evening News that he was simply trying to document life in the notorious civic square and is an ‘innocent victim’.
