Oldham Athletic have confirmed a 27-year-old male has received a two-year banning order from the club following his actions against Rochdale last night.
The supporter encroached onto the field of play during the 34th minute of the game following the decision to award a penalty to Rochdale.
The supporter has admitted his shame and apologised to the club, however, we condemn his actions in the strongest possible terms and have made this swift decision.
In a statement the club said that it would like to thank Rochdale Football Club and Greater Manchester Police for their help in this matter.
