Oil prices have surged back above $100 a barrel overnight with reports of more tankers being hit in the Straits of Hormuz
Two oil tankers were struck near the port of Umm Qasr in Iraq, killing one person and injuring 38.
There are also reports that a US-owned oil tanker SafeSea Vishnu has been attacked by Iran off the coast of Iraq overnight with underwater drones.
