As Greater Manchester Police reported another busy day on their social media feed, they reported that they were called to a gathering at Platt Fields Park on Wilmslow Road.
They attended and found a group & numerous pieces of “circus equipment”
In a humorous but serious point they added that “The group has been dispersed. Whilst these matters seem trivial, officers don’t have time to clown around! Attending these calls is no small feet, and ties up resources which are needed elsewhere.”
Police reported that by late Saturday afternoon over 650 incidents have been reported to Greater Manchester Police this afternoon alone, 55 related to breaches of Coronavirus regulations.
