The Royal Birkdale Golf Club has been unveiled as the host of the 154th Open in July 2026.
The iconic club has previously hosted golf’s original championship on 10 occasions, most recently in 2017.
It will be the second time in three years that courses in the North West will be hosting the prestigious event with this years event taking place at the Royal Liverpool next week
