The van driver was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving after a motorcyclist sustained significant injuries in a crash in Little Lever last night
The collision happened around 10.13pm on Church Street.
The motorcyclist sustained significant injuries which will be life-changing.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who may have dashcam or Ring doorbell footage of the incident to come forward and help their enquiries.
