The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a smash on the M60 earlier today
He was riding a Honda motorcycle which collided with a stationary Skoda Fabia close to Jct 24 around 11.20 this morning
An investigation is underway.
Sergeant Marie Eldred, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This was a serious collision which has left a man in hospital with multiple injuries. Our thoughts are with him as he receives treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the collision and we are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a blue HGV as we believe they may have information or dash cam footage which may assist us.
“I would also like to use this opportunity to appeal to anyone else with information or dash cam footage to contact us.”
