The mother of the murdered Warrington teenager Brianna Ghey has met the mother of one of her killers
Esther Ghey confirmed she held a face-to-face meeting with Emma Sutton, the mother of 16-year-old Scarlett Jenkinson one of the two people sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder in a Warrington Park
She said she would be open to working with Scarlett’s mum on her campaign to get mindfulness and kindness put onto the national curriculum.
She noted that “Scarlett’s family’s lives have been changed forever too” and said: “It was a positive and respectful meeting which allowed us to initially get to know each other.”
they “discussed family and the challenges of parenting” last week and that as a former teacher, Scarlett’s mother was interested in her Peace in Mind campaigns for mindfulness training in schools and better child safeguarding for social media and mobile phones.
