Reception children at St Mary’s CofE Primary School in Moss Side took part in an array of friendship-themed activities with BABY born’s best friend – BABY born Bear.

Children at the school were taught about friendship in a creative way and through playing with the BABY born Bear toys, which were gifted by the brand as part of a partnership with an educational provider.

The activities that took place in late September were targeted around areas of the National Curriculum, in particular, Personal, Social and Emotional Development and allowed children to feel supported at school. From making new friends to expressing feelings and emotions, the activities were designed to help children as they take the next big step in their lives.

Once the activities had been carried out, the reception children were able to take home a certificate to congratulate them for learning about friendship with BABY born Bear.

Speaking of the experience, Reception Teacher at St Mary’s CofE Primary School, Amy Stoba said: “This was the third time we’ve had BABY born come into our school with exciting activities for us to take part in and we hope it’s not the last. The children absolutely loved meeting BABY born Bear and they were so enthusiastic about taking part in all the activities!”

Kasia Leskow, Head of Marketing for Zapf UK added: “We are very happy to work with St Mary’s CofE. It’s great how the partnership highlights how BABY born Bear has been designed to teach children kindness and friendship, and that our products help support the social and emotional development of children.”
