A Manchester Restaurant has scooped a top award at this year’s Good Food Guide awards
Skof won the Best New Restaurant award for 2025 at an award ceremony at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London
It is Tom Barnes’ first solo restaurant located in iconic Hanover building (a former drapery warehouse built by the Co-operative Wholesale Society in 1904
Barnes had almost 20 years working as a chef at some of the world’s best restaurants,before finally fulfilling his lifelong ambition opening his own restaurant, Skof in the Spring of 2024
Skof has already scooped an award at the National Restaurant Awards and and has been name checked in the Michelin Guide U.K. as well as having received glowing reviews from national critics.
