Manchester’s Junction is turning Blue Monday into a paw-sitive day by hosting a “Bring Your Dog to Work” event on Monday, January 20th.

Recognised as the most depressing day of the year, Blue Monday is being turned on its head as Junction welcomes everyone’s four-legged friends with open arms, to boost morale, reduce stress, and spread smiles.

An all-day casual dining destination offering a cafe, bar, restaurant and social workspace, Junction is dog-friendly all year round but on January 20th it will be offering complimentary Puppacinos and dog treats made by the chefespecially for the occasion. Dog owners can choose from Junction’s range of menus, including the Breakfast Menu (available from 8am – 12pm), the Lounge Menu (available from 12pm – 8pm), and the new Seasonal Evening Menu (available from 5pm – 8pm).

“At Junction, we understand that Blue Monday is normally a day people don’t look forward to, so we wanted to do something positive and enjoyable to change that,” said James Thompson, General Manager at Junction. “Whether you’re coming to Junction to work, to meet friends for a coffee or enjoy a bite to eat, bringing your dogs is a simple way to create smiles, reduce stress, and remind everyone that even on the toughest days, our furry friends can make all the difference.”

Located on Windmill Street, under the arches of Manchester Central, Junction is open Monday to Saturday, 8am – 10pm.
