If you’re a retro video game collector, a board game fanatic or a fan of gaming from past to present, then make sure you head down to the Manchester Gaming Market on Sunday 1 September for your chance to find hidden gems from the gaming world.

Returning to a new venue, and with even more exhibitors, take a look through hundreds of tables of iconic memorabilia. Whether it’s a nostalgic visit with friends or family, or you want to purchase the merchandise for sale, make sure you pre-book your tickets for guaranteed entry so you don’t miss out.

Items will range from classic video games, consoles and import games, to board games, game-inspired clothing, magazines, retro toys and custom-made artwork.

Bringing together thousands of gamers and collectors from the region, the Manchester Gaming Market is managed by Replay Events, and follows on from the earlier success of PLAY Expo, which was held in May and saw thousands of people turn out to the North’s biggest video games event.

Andy Brown, Managing Director for Reply Events, said: “If you’ve yet to visit a Gaming Market, imagine a massive venue filled hundreds of tables of video games, tabletop games and merchandise for sale along with thousands of fellow gamers and collectors eager to find a bargain or that must-have item. Gaming Nirvana!”

The Manchester Gaming Market will take place at Sugden Sport Centre on Sunday 1 September. Early entry tickets (giving access from 11am) cost £4.00 and are pre-bookable at: www.manchestergamingmarket.com/tickets. Tickets after 12:00 cost just £2. Children under 14 can enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult after 12pm. Tickets are available on the door. The Manchester Gaming Market closes at 4pm.
