Manchester’s St George’s parade will be taking place this Sunday

The Carnival Parade will leave Varley street from approx 12pm and will venture into the city center with a stream of live music dance and color as some of Manchester’s much loved charities community groups bands and organisations celebrate being proud to be English.

The parade turns left onto Oldham Road and continues down to Oldham Street before turning left onto Piccadilly. From there the route goes along Newton Street and Dale Street before making its way through Stevenson Square.

The parade this year we will be taking a break off our family festival just so it can focus all its energy on making the parade the biggest it has ever been say the organisers.
