A pedestrian in his 40’s has been left with life threatening injuries after being hit by a tipper truck on Littleton Road in Salford
The driver of a tipper truck has reversed along Littleton Road and collided with a pedestrian who was working on the road.
He has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and has been released on bail pending further investigations.
Police are are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell footage, from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
