A man has been charged with causing serious injury driving while disqualified, failing to stop and perverting the course of justice after a 12 year od boy remains in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Chorlton last week
Richard John (also known as Richard Allan) aged 37 of Brighouse, West Yorkshire, was arrested in the Dukinfield area and remanded in custody and appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court earlier today.
He has again been remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday 23 June 2021.
