A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and possession of class B and class A drugs during an early morning raid in Longsight this morning
He currently remains in custody for questioning.
During the raid a sword and cannabis were seized from a property on Clitheroe Road.
An investigation remains ongoing.
