Boris Johnson is making a statement to the House of Commons on a further lifting of the lockdown conditions across England

The two metre rule will be relaxed from the 4th July to one metre plus while taking mitigation to reduce the risk.Guidance will be issued to firms as to what these measures should be.

Two households of any size will be allowed to meet indoors.However the government is recommending that multiple households don’t meet up indoors. Outside the guidance remains that more than two households can meet up to a maximum of six people.

People from one household will be able to stay overnight at another.

Restaurants and bars will reopen but they will be limited to table services.Names and addresses will be taken.All hairdressers, museums, galleries will also open as well as Libraries and Community Centres

Some other services, like nail bars, will be allowed to open if they can do so in a safe way.

Hotels and self accomodation places will be allowed to open along with campsites provided washing facilities and toilets can be kept clean.

However indoors facilities, like gyms, bowling alleys and waterparks, will have to stay closed.

Nightclubs,Casinos,Bowling alleys and indoor skating rinks,Indoor play areas including soft-play and spas will remain closed ·

Places of worship will be open for prayer, services and weddings up to a maximum of 30 people with social distancing guidelines

“We will not hesitate to introduce lockdown even at a national level if needed” says the Prime Minister….Our long national hibernation is coming to an end”

The Prime Minister says one in 1700 people in England have the infection, a month ago it was one in 400

The number of Daily deaths peaked at over 900 in April, today the rolling average is 130 he adds.

“We do not believe that currently there is going to be a second wave of the pandemic” says the Prime Minister.

All parts of the UK are moving in the right direction-Caution will remain our watchword, each step can be reversable.
