Rentruck Aces newcomer Jaimon Lidsey has expressed his excitement to finally be taking to the track in Belle Vue kevlars after getting a taste for the National Speedway Stadium last year.

The 20-year old Australian Under-21 Champion made his British debut for the Rentruck Aces to the tune of 7+1 at Peterborough, before adding a credible 4+1 in his opening gambit in Manchester.

Lidsey said: “This is a great club and the track is just awesome. I rode here a little bit last year and I loved it, and it feels great to be back here on a full-time basis riding for the Aces this season.

“I made some good progress back home in Aussie. I won my state championship, I won the U-21 National title and I feel I had a pretty good run in the senior solo championships too.

“Unfortunately I broke my collarbone but it’s only a very small step backwards. It feels pretty good at the minute and I’m confident it’ll be fully healed for the season ahead.”

Lidsey and the Belle Vue ‘Rentruck’ Aces head to Ipswich next Thursday, April 18 before they are next back in action at home on Easter Monday, April 22 against the Wolverhampton Wolves.

Tickets for the bumper Easter weekend are now available online at www.bellevue-speedway.com or at the stadium box office on race day.
