Leigh Centurions will be paradise this afternoon after their historic win at the Rugby League Challenge Cup final yesterday

The parade will start in Astley at 4pm and will be working through to Leigh Town Hall for 4.30-5pm (depending on traffic)

The club won the game against Hull Kingston Rovers with the final poised at golden point, Lachlan Lam kicked the cup-winning drop-goal to earn the club their first Challenge Cup victory since 1971.

The clubs owner Derek Beaumont told BBC Sport “We’ve got something going on here that’s special. Serendipity, fate. Some things are just written in the stars. I think this is one.”
