Atherton’s Keely Hodgkinson has broken the World Record in the women’s 800m at the Meeting Lievin, clocking 1:54.87!
The previous World Record was set on the exact day Hodgkinson was born in 2002.
She broke the record of 1:55.82 set by Jolanda Ceplak in 2002.
“I think there’s still more to push. I’m grateful to the good lineup of girls that pushed me all the way…. We’re all just going to get faster and faster, to be honest.” she said following the race
