The judge in the trial of Ryan Giggs at Manchester Crown Court has instructed the jury that they can now return a majority verdict
Members of the jury said they had been unable to agree on a verdict on all three counts, so the judge said she would accept a majority verdict of 10-1.
After being sent out a week ago the jury of seven women and four men — the 12th juror had to be stood down after falling ill — they were called back in by Judge Hilary Manley this afternoon.
