Boris Johnson’s decision to yet again refuse to learn from his mistakes and leave the borders open to arrivals from India without hotel quarantine is looking more and more reckless, misguided and dangerous by the hour
according to Greater Manchester MP and Labour Deputy Angela Rayner.

Following tonight’s Downing Street press conference in which the Prime Minister warned that the promised June ending of Covid restrictions may be under jeopardy due to the prevalence of the so called Indian variant,Boris Johnson has been criticised for delaying putting Indian into the red traffic system despite neighbouring Pakistan being placed in the highest category two weeks previously.

It has been suggested that the decision revolves around post Brexit trade negotiations and Johnson’s planned trip to India which was subsequently cancelled.
