Last week property developer Karrev celebrated the completion of its £35 million restoration of Manchester’s Sunlight House, a defining moment for one of the city’s most recognisable Art Deco landmarks.
Standing proudly on Quay Street since 1932, Sunlight House has been an important feature of the Manchester skyline for generations. Now, following an intensive restoration by Karrev, the iconic building will enter a new era that celebrates its historic character while giving it a new lease of life, putting modern design and sustainability at its core.
As Sunlight House reaches this major milestone, excitement continues to build for the building with Joe & The Juice signing a lease on a prime 2,300 sq ft ground-floor unit. The internationally acclaimed Danish brand, famous for its fresh juices, shakes and signature sandwiches, will open its flagship Manchester store in spring 2026.
