A Salford man has been jailed for life for the rape of a 15 year old girl
Christopher Kofi Taylor aged 48 of Dorothy Street will serve a minimum of 11 years and four months.
The 15-year-old had been attacked in an isolated incident at an address in Trafford in June 2021
Detective Constable Emma Bentley from Greater Manchester Police, said; “Taylor’s treatment of a vulnerable young female was shocking and deplorable. Predatory behaviour like this should never be tolerated and eradicating it is a top priority.
“Her courage to come forward and give evidence has enabled us to pursue this prosecution. Though these offences have a lasting impact on victims, it is my hope this result provides some sense of closure.”
